When it comes to business, creating and managing different forms of media is critical to brand recognition and the success of a company. In order to know how and where to focus efforts, business owners should dig a little deeper into the different types of media that are available.
Owned Media
Owned media are physical, creative, historical, and intellectual aspects of a company or brand. Because this is property of the company, direct legal rights to the material belong to the brand, making it the only form of media that is completely controlled by the company itself.
Some examples include: brand name, logo, trademark, website, signage, letterhead, business cards, or, packaging.
