Thanks guys. I watched the AK video series and learned. I am a much bigger fan of “time on site” now, ANNNND… of course, just a little more wary of how “the roi” number might mislead if I am not REALLY clear on what is actually being measured.

As to the conversation about “ignorance”, or at least our need to educate and explain… in sales and marketing orgs, there will often be points of view driven by old school, financial metrics and incentives that reinforce a “will-full ignorance”.
Attribution of “sales credit” across marketing and sales channels is difficult.
I wonder how Best Buy attributes that I research everything on their site, and then go buy it at the store!
