Did You Know?

More than 40 percent of the ads that Google shows are now display-oriented, non-text ads. Efforts to more aggressively promote their display advertising efforts follow an influx of new innovations and creative campaigns from advertisers and agencies. Learn more about how Google is adjusting to changes in the industry and seeking innovation in display advertising through their “Watch This Space” campaign. Main components:

  • Google Display Network - Enables advertisers to buy more ads on more relevant sites, resulting in better performance.
  • DoubleClick Ad Exchange - A real-time marketplace that helps large online publishers maximize ROI across millions of sites, all in one platform. Enables users to define their audience and have more control over media spend.
  • YouTube - YouTube has partnership deals with thousands of content providers, providing opportunities for a wide range of high-profile placements.

Google’s innovation gives advertisers more flexibility and extends the reach of campaigns. Depending on the site’s audience, the messages displayed can quickly and easily be changed to target audiences of similar websites.
