Job Description: SEO Campaign Manager

WebsiteBiz, Inc. has an immediate opening for an SEO Campaign Manager.  We’re looking for an experienced SEO Campaign Manager to step into an exciting results focused team-oriented environment.  A strong history and experience with SEO services and the ability to execute as the lead technician for an array of clients is a must.  Problem solvers and technical experts preferred!

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of SEO campaign tactics and execution with both clients and team
  • Understanding and adherence to search engine algorithms, shifts, requirements, and best of breed SEO
  • Keyword research strategies (terms, head/tail, user intent, etc)
  • Site structure analysis, navigation, page construction and additional site audits recommendations for optimal search engine friendliness & indexing
  • On-page optimization including content development strategies supported by professional copywriters (meta tags, content relevancy, keyword integration, semantic relevance, etc)
  • Link building strategies and execution; including viral and buzz-oriented efforts
  • Leverage Social Media channels for the benefits of natural search optimization
  • Client reporting, analytics, Key Performance Indicators, and metrics for client evaluation
  • Ability to think outside of the box for white-hat, ethical search optimization efforts based on client-specific objectives and other responsibilities as needed

This individual may also be responsible for other technical functions in support of our clients’ marketing efforts:

  • Enhancing lead generation, capture, and reporting systems
  • Executing the technical aspect of Email marketing campaigns and generating reports for management
  • Supporting other Internet Marketing efforts as needed
  • Configuring, implementing, and testing Web Analytics and Multivariate testing code

Requirements and Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years hands-on SEO experience.  Additional preference to those with agency experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with ASP and PHP is beneficial
  • Experience using advanced SEO tools, reporting & analytics tools and research platforms to facilitate SEO campaign execution
  • Proven track record with sample achievements of successful SEO implementations
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and implement strategy
  • Proficient with MS Office, Dreamweaver, and workflow management systems
  • Well organized and timely completion of tasks/assignments
  • Bachelors degree; or equivalent work and SEO experience to offset lack of degree
  • Desire and enthusiasm for search marketing and innovative web marketing
