Business Development Director – Miami Ft. Lauderdale

Summary:
WebsiteBiz has an immediate opening for a full-time Business Development Director that is results-oriented, energetic and eager to join an award winning company. We are looking for an aggressive, motivated, dynamic sales professional with strong communication skills, proven track record and the ability to reach Marketing and Sales Directors in addition to “C” level executives.

Location: Miami Ft. Lauderdale Area

Job Description:
The Business Development Director will produce incremental revenue through business-to-business selling to Fortune 1000 and middle market companies in an assigned geographic territory. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment with customer acquisition and revenue goals.

A solution based selling approach will be used to determine client needs and respond with a proposal with the goal of helping marketers reach unmatched results through innovative and proven online strategies.

This position reports to the Executive Vice President.

Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prospecting for new customers through networking, referrals and professional social media options, such as LinkedIn, with the goal of obtaining an appointment
  • Identifying client needs and business objectives as well as an understanding of the consequences if the goals are not met
  • Preparing and presenting sales proposals
  • Acquire new business directly to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Work in collaboration with the Account Management team to set and exceed client expectations
  • Maintaining key customer relationships
  • Maintain and deliver accurate pipeline and sales forecasts reports and other sales related reports as required by management
  • Identify new strategic partnership opportunities
  • Provide superior service in an enthusiastic and results oriented manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of digital sales experience
  • Marketing agency experience a plus
  • Ability to work both independently as a team player
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with quotas and goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passion for digital marketing
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • BA in marketing, advertising or related field
  • Client references
