WebsiteBiz Execs Help Launch Charlotte Internet Marketing Association
CHARLOTTE - Eric Dudley, President and Kyle Bumgardner, Director of Business Development for Internet marketing agency WebsiteBiz (www.websitebiz.com) have helped launch Charlotte’s first Interactive Marketing Association (IMA).
The Charlotte Interactive Marketing Association (CiMA) is the only association in Charlotte exclusively dedicated to interactive marketing. CiMA is an enthusiastic group of interactive marketing professionals focused on providing the Charlotte interactive marketing community opportunities to network, share, and learn about leading interactive strategies and tactics. "The Charlotte Interactive Marketing Association will allow local interactive marketing professionals to learn from industry experts and peers, as well as meet counterparts going through similar online marketing challenges," says Dudley.
Bumgardner agrees. "This is a great opportunity for professionals in our industry to find new opportunities in Charlotte, form partnerships and learn from others' perspectives."
Dudley and Bumgardner were inspired by the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association, which was founded in 1999. Volunteers from the Atlanta group helped to lay the foundation for the new Charlotte chapter.
CiMA is in the process of selecting individuals to serve on its board of directors. The organization attracted 55 people to its first gathering in December and expects to generate a high level of interest as new media and interactive marketing professionals in Charlotte learn about the group.
